Every Sting Glide is crafted from sustainably sourced Australian paulownia—one of the lightest and most buoyant timbers available. The result is a handboard that feels incredibly responsive in the water while remaining strong enough for years of adventure.

Each board is finished with natural anti-mould linseed oil and contains no resins, plastics, or harsh chemicals, creating a more natural connection between you and the ocean.

Every Board is Unique

Every Sting Glide handboard is crafted from natural Australian paulownia timber, meaning no two boards are ever exactly the same. Each board will have its own unique wood grain patterns, natural colours and character. The twin red cedar stringers are also made from natural timber, so variations in their colour and tone are to be expected.

These natural variations are part of what makes every Sting Glide handboard unique.

Moon Tail or Diamond Tail?

The only difference between our Moon Tail and Diamond Tail handboards is the tail shape. Both models are made from the same premium Australian paulownia timber and feature the same performance concave, twin red cedar stringers, sharp rails, dimensions, weight and construction.

Built to Last

Your Sting Glide is made to be ridden for years.

To keep it looking and performing its best, simply give it a light sand and apply a fresh coat of linseed oil whenever needed. With a little care, your board will continue to glide beautifully season after season.
